Riley kaminski named bccaa athlete of the week

This weekend Riley helped lift the Mariners to two important wins over the #11 nationally ranked Capilano Blues and the Douglas Royals. After missing the first semester with a severe ankle sprain, Riley has come back to contribute to the Mariners team in the libero position. This weekend he lead the way defensively with 26 digs in 6 games (4.33 digs/game). In the 5 matches this semester, Riley has averaged 3.35 digs/game, which has him leading the league in the digs category almost 1 dig more then 2nd place. Riley's leadership and court presence have been a valued addition to the Mariners 2nd semester performance.


Our Men's Volleyball Coach Chris Densmore and player Nigel Proch gave a hour clinic to the Rutherford Roadrunners grade 7 team on Tuesday morning. The young volleyballers were captivated by the volleyball knowledge and skill of Nigel and Chris.The Roadrunners hope to use their new skills in a game today and the upcoming playoffs next week.
Mariner tickets were given to the team for this weekend BIG games.
More clinics are planned for Hammond Bay and Chase River elementary schools.
