At the Nanaimo Sports Achievement awards banquet held on Saturday night, VIU athletes hauled in numerous awards !!

The men's basketball team was named team of the year, Bill Merriman was named high performance coach and  Lindsay McLoughlin took home female team athlete of the year.

Well done VIU !!
