Isaac Bevis playing for VIU

The Mariners Men’s Volleyball is extremely excited to welcome newly committed Isaac Bevis to their Program. Isaac will be joining the 2017-18 Mariners from Dover Bay Secondary School. Isaac is a home-grown, local Nanaimo talent that has been involved in volleyball since a very young age. The Mariner Men’s Program would like to thank Isaac’s mother and father, Lenette and Rick, for all their love and support in creating the opportunity for Isaac to become a part of our program. Another special thanks to his grade 12 Head Coach, Shawn Owen and all the other coaches Isaac that played a role in developing Isaac’s volleyball skills.
Isaac comes to the Mariners with an impressive volleyball resume and an even more outstanding academic history. Isaac has maintained academic distinction with an outstanding A average throughout his high school career as well achieving the following volleyball personal and team accolades: 

• 2016 Camosun Chargers Tournament – Tournament MVP 
• 2016 VIU Mariners Tournament – 1st Team All-Star
• 2016 Vancouver Island Championship - Tournament MVP
• 2016 BC High School Championship – 1st Team All-Star
• 2015-16 U16 & 17U Team BC – Provincial Team 
• 2015 U16 Beach Volleyball Provincials – Gold Medalist
• 2016 U18 Beach Volleyball Provincials – Bronze Medalist
• 2014 BC Summer Games Volleyball – Silver Medalist
