For the second year in a row VIU's Middle Blocker Lee Hamilton has been awarded an All-Canadian Award. This is one of the most prestigious individual award a Student-athlete can receive.

Games go at 8pm following the 6pm women's match and on Saturday at 3pm just after the women's match at 1. VIU women are ranked #2 in Canada!!

Just two weekends of regular season volleyball remain for the Mariners, and the men’s team is peaking at the right time. VIU is in a battle for second place in the PacWest standings, with the top two teams getting a quarter-final bye at Provincials later this month.

The VIU Mariners won all their games this weekend !! It was a clean sweep !! Volleyball won all there matches 3-0 over CBC on home court, while the Basketball teams defeated CBc and Kwantlen.
Two PACWEST Athletes of the Week

Two Mariners named PACWEST athletes of the week !! Congratulation Lee Hamilton from the Men's Volleyball team and Jocelyn Jones from the Women's Basketball team.
Currently Jocelyn leads the league in assists and Lee is fourth in blocks.
