Weekend Wellness Challenge
On the first three Fridays in May, we will post a simple challenge to our Instagram feed. Share to your story what the challenge is (see challenges below); tag with @MarinersRecreation and #VIUWeekendWellness, and we will repost. Complete all three challenges to be entered into a draw for a swag bag from Mariners Athletics & Recreation.
May 1-3: Share a healthy breakfast that gets you going on the weekend.
May 8-10: Complete 20 minutes minimum of indoor activities per day such as at-home workouts or online fitness classes.
May 15-17: Complete 20 minutes minimum per day of outdoor activities such as walking, hiking, biking or running.
Storm the Stairs
Be sure to follow @MarinersRecreation on Facebook and Instagram. On May 25, we will post an activity card that you will need to screenshot. For every day you complete 20 minutes of activity, share the activity card on your story with an X on that day, as well as a short video or picture of you during the activity, tag @MarinersRecreation and #VIUStormtheStairs. For every day you complete a task you have Stormed the Stairs. Let's see how many times the VIU Community can do this in one week!
