Columbia Bible College hosts the Mariners for a weekend set in Abbotsford
VIU continues its season-opening road trip with games in Abbotsford against the Columbia Bible College Bearcats.
The Mariners are 2-0 after breaking 100 points in both wins over the Okanagan Coyotes while the Bearcats won a tight game over Langara before dropping the rematch by nearly 40 points.

- Friday, October 24 at the Columbia Bible College Gym, 8 pm.
- Saturday, October 25 at the Columbia Bible College Gym, 2 pm.

Head to Head in 24-25
VIU won all five matchups last season against the Bearcats, including a 77-63 victory in the PACWEST semifinal. One of the regular season games was close--79-72--but the margin of victory in the other three games averaged 37 points.

CBC: Dane-Dre Anglin leads the conference in points per game (24.5) and rebounds per game (10).
VIU: Kye Kotapski-Tinga was an offensive powerhouse against the Coyotes and was named VIU men's basketball athlete of the week. He's averaging 22 points per game with teammate Ekham Sohal not far behind at 20.5 ppg.
