Head-To-Head
Langara came to Nanaimo as VIU's home opening opponent in November and the opening game of the weekend was quite memorable. The Falcons tied the game at the final buzzer before the Mariners got clutch shooting from Levi Van Egdom, Ryan Bastian, and Ty Cyr in overtime to bring home a 100-88 victory.
The Mariners took control in the rematch early and led 47-21 at the half. VIU cruised the rest of the way to a 88-61 win.
