Head-To-Head
VIU and Capilano split two games at the VIU Gym in November. The Mariners took the first game 85-77 with Winston Cole coming off the bench to score a game-high 23 points. The Blues responded with a 98-88 win the next day on the back of 31 points from Kash Lang. Ekman Sohal led the Mariners with 28 points.
VIU has won all four of their games in 2026, cresting 100 points in three and scoring 92 in the other. The Blues swept the Okanagan Coyotes in a weekend set to start the new year but dropped back-to-back games against the Camosun Chargers last weekend.
