The latest edition of Mariners vs Chargers looks to ignite the VIU Gym
VIU's home-opening volleyball games this seaon hold a little more meaning that usual as the Mariners (1-1) welcome their Island rivals, the Camosun Chargers (2-0), to Nanaimo.

- Saturday, October 25 at the VIU Gym, 3 pm

Head-To-Head in 2024-25
The last time the Mariners and Chargers played in the VIU Gym, it was for a PACWEST bronze medal, won by VIU.
In the regular season, VIU won three of four against Camosun with one game--a VIU victory--going five sets.
Watch Out Now
Camosun: Outside hitter Eli Woldringh earned 28 kills over two matches against Douglas College in the opening weekend of the season and was named PACWEST men's volleyball athlete of the week.
VIU: Jake Stobbe had two solid games against his former team at CBC and was named VIU's men's volleyball athlete of the week. Carter Munro also had a very effective weekend against the Bearcats.
