Mariners return to home court for the first time since October, welcome Capilano to town
NANAIMO - The Mariners are hoping a return to home court bolsters their playoff chances but will need to beat a resurgent Capilano Blues team ahead of them in the conference standings.

Capilano won all six sets over VIU in two November matches: 25-19, 25-19, 25-21 in the first meeting and 25-18, 25-21, 25-22 in the second.
So far in 2026, the Mariners have earned a split at Camosun while Capilano defeated Douglas 3-2 and 3-1.

Capilano: Luke Tiegan, a 6'9" outside hitter, sits fourth in total offense and fifth in kills per set. Shub Wander is fifth in aces at 0.4 per set.
VIU: Rowan MacPherson and Kieran Paauwe, PACWEST men's volleyball athlete of the week, are 1-2 in conference blocks per set.
