New Westminster, BC - The top two teams in the PACWEST will meet up in New Westminster this evening as the Douglas Royals host the VIU Mariners.

- VIU Mariners (5-1, CCAA #6, tied PACWEST #1) vs Douglas Royals (5-1, tied PACWEST #1)
- Friday, November 7 at Douglas College, New Westminster campus, 6 pm.
- Saturday, October 2 at Douglas College, New Westminster campus 1 pm.

Douglas: Forward Makenzie Dalphond leads the conference in shooting percentage (57.6%) is in third place in the PACWEST in points per game (15.7). Lauren Clements was the conference's player of the week for the second week of the season.
VIU: Guard Trista Thorn was named VIU's women's basketball athlete of the week after two strong performances in a weekend sweep over Langara. She is also leading the conference in three-point percentage and has hit 41.2% of her shots from beyond the arc.
