Mariners get valuable scrimmage time during a holiday tour in Wild Rose Country

VIU Mariners women's volleyball headed east over the 2023-24 winter holiday break for team building and high-tempo scrimmages against post-secondary teams in Alberta. (There were also rumours of line-dancing lessons.)

The team offers thanks and appreciation to the MacEwan Griffins (Canada West) and ACAC teams NAIT Ooks, Red Deer Queens, Concordia (Edmonton) Thunder, The King's Eagles, and--in a CCAA tournament rematch from the spring--the University of Alberta-Augustana Vikings. Thanks to all for your hospitality and all the best for the rest of your 2023-24 seasons!
