Head-To-Head in 2024
After VIU and Capilano split two September games last season, the Blues held the Mariners to one point over the final weekend when the Mariners needed a win to claim a postseason spot.
The Mariners dropped three of four games versus the PACWEST champion Falcons last season but defeated Langara on the road thanks to a memorable Charlie Smith winning goal.
Watch Out Now
Capilano: striker Sebastian Cirotto was a PACWEST all-star last season and led the conference with eight goals. He already has two this season.
Langara: Edmonton's Maslah Farah leads the conference in goals with three: a hat-trick scored in a season opening win.
VIU: Declan Brown was active all over the pitch in VIU's opening weekend and was named team athlete of the week. Brian Bland, Charlie Smith, and Josh Rayner hit the scoresheet for the Mariners in Week #1.
On the Horizon
After this weekend, the Mariners return home for September 20 and 21 games against Capilano. These games represent the first time PACWEST regular season games will be played at Harewood Cenntennial Park (East Turf). Kickoff is scheduled for 3 pm on both days.
