Head-To-Head
In their sole meeting of the season so far, the Blues looked to be in control, up a man with 10 minutes remaining. However, goals from Brian Bland and Maxwell Dadzie brought the Mariners level before the final whistle.
After this weekend, the Mariners and Blues will match up one more time in the regular season: Saturday, October 18 at Capilano's Squamish campus.
Watch Out Now
Capilano: Sebastian Cirotto led the conference in goals last year and is on a goal-per-game pace so far in 2025. Tommy Millar was named Capilano's men's soccer player of the week.
VIU: Adam Hopper, VIU's men's soccer athlete of the week, has shown signs of being lethal on spot kicks and set plays so far this season. Striker Brian Bland leads the team with two goals.
